Standard Application Online (SAO)
The Standard Application Online for admission to independent boarding and day schools has been designed to simplify the admission process for student and teachers who must complete recommendations. It was developed to make applying to independent schools easier and faster, and it is accepted by most SSATB member schools.
The Standard Application Online allows families to fill out an online application and obtain one set of teacher recommendations that can be used to apply to any number of private schools that accept the SAO.
The SAO eliminates the need to fill out multiple (and often redundant) forms.
