SSAT Student Advisory Board

Helping students and families on their independent school journey is one of our guiding tenets. In order to assist us, we have enlisted the help of a group of outstanding students to provide us with feedback and direction. The SSAT Student Advisory Board features a select group of SSAT test takers and independent school students interested in helping us shape the features and services we offer.

Through research interviews, surveys, and blog contributions, the SSAT Student Advisory Board identifies the needs of prospective independent school students and ultimately helps guide the future of the SSAT.

Participants in the Student Advisory Board:

  1. Contribute to our new student blog, SchoolUp. Here, students write about their SSAT test-taking experience and draw on their experiences to provide advice about applying to independent schools.
  2. Provide detailed feedback on the design of new tools and features for SSAT.org.
  3. Participate in surveys and share insights on important issues about being an applicant to - and student at - an independent school, such as school visits, athletic activities, course loads, and many others.
