Accommodations Handbook

Depending on your student’s accommodation request, you may or may not be required to submit documentation which can greatly impact an application’s timeline for approval.

• If you are required to submit documentation, please allow our team a minimum of two (2) weeks to complete its review of your student’s application after you have uploaded supporting documentation and your designated approver has completed their requirements.
• If you are not required to submit supporting documentation, the approval wait time will greatly depend upon the speed at which your student’s approver takes action in completing their requirements.‍
• We recommend allowing at least 3–4 weeks for application approval prior to the applicable registration deadline; however, testing options may be limited in some areas, therefore, please apply for accommodations as soon as possible.
• Incomplete submissions, or those not meeting EMA’s requirements, may cause for delays in the processing of your student’s application and their ability to register for accommodated testing.
